Order Confirmation
All orders for Goods are accepted when you receive a confirmation e-mail to this effect. We are legally obliged to send you this confirmation and you may wish to print or save it for your future reference. The confirmation will include details of your order, including your chosen delivery address. We will send you a further e-mail to let you know that your order will shortly be dispatched. Please read our Privacy Policy for more information regarding our data handling policy.
Price & Payment
All prices are quoted in Pounds Sterling (£) and, where appropriate, are inclusive of UK sales tax (VAT) but exclusive of delivery charges. All Goods are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. We try to ensure that all prices on display on the Website at www.mungoandmaud.com are accurate. The price of an item is the price at head office on the day of your order. We reserve the right to change any price after you place an order but should we do so, we will inform you before we process your order and you will have the opportunity to cancel the order. However the correct price will always appear on your order confirmation. Where Goods are discontinued or cannot for some reason be delivered we will contact you by e-mail or telephone to inform you of this and to suggest an alternative item similar to the one ordered or we may have to cancel your order. Where this is part of a larger order, we will process and dispatch the available Goods to you in the normal manner. All payments must be in Pounds Sterling. We accept payment by Visa, MasterCard, Maestro and Solo. We will not charge you until your order is dispatched.
Delivery
Your order will be delivered by Royal Mail, ParcelForce or another carrier and may require a signature on delivery. The cost of delivery will be added to your order total before payment is taken. Our standard delivery charge to addresses within the United Kingdom is £4.50 per order. Higher charges may apply for particularly heavy or bulky goods or for delivery to outlying parts of the United Kingdom, including Northern Ireland. We will advise you prior to processing your order should a higher charge apply. Overseas delivery charges will be quoted and charged on a case by case basis. If an item is out of stock, this will be indicated on the Website whenever possible. We will endeavour to dispatch all goods that are in stock as soon as possible after receipt of your order. We aim to do so within seven days of receipt of your order unless items must be personalised. In all cases delivery times are estimates only and dispatch may be slightly delayed so please allow up to 30 days. If we are unable to perform the whole or part of the order due to any cause or event beyond our control we may by notice in writing to you cancel or suspend the order in whole or in part without liability. We may deliver separately the Goods which make up your order. Where we do so, you will only incur one delivery charge. Title to the Goods shall pass to you on payment in full of the price of the Goods.
Cancellation, Returns & Exchanges
Customers in the European Union: You may cancel your order at any time after you have placed it up to and including seven working days after the day on which you receive the Goods. If you wish to cancel your order, you will have to return any items within ten working days and at your own cost for return or exchange as required. Please obtain proof of posting as we cannot be held responsible for packages lost on return to us. All goods returned to us must be unused, in their original packaging and in resaleable condition. Should you fail to return such goods to us, we may arrange for their return to us and will charge you any reasonable expenses incurred in our doing so. If you have ordered any service from us you have seven working days after the day that you place your order in which to cancel. However your right to cancel any service ends when our performance of the service starts even if that is within your cancellation period. In the case of cancelled orders, payments will be refunded within thirty days. Alternatively, should any goods be unsuitable, we are happy to exchange them or to offer store credit. Should you wish to return any goods for exchange, refund or store credit, you must call us in the first instance in order that we may issue a returns authorisation number. Customers outside the European Union: You may return to us any goods that you have ordered for exchange or refund within seven days of the day on which you receive the Goods. If you wish to do so, you will have to return any items at your own cost. We will be unable to refund the original shipping cost that was charged to you when you placed your order. In addition, we will charge you a further amount that will be advised to you if you ask us to ship goods to you as an exchange unless the goods that were originally supplied to you are faulty. Please obtain proof of posting as we cannot be held responsible for packages lost on return to us. All goods returned to us must be unused, in their original packaging and in resaleable condition. If you have ordered any service from us you have seven days from the day that you place your order in which to cancel. However your right to cancel any service ends when our performance of the service starts even if that is within your cancellation period. In the case of goods returned for refund, payments will be refunded within thirty days of our receiving the goods in good condition. Shortage and transit damage
You must inspect the Goods at the place and time of delivery and notify us of any shortages, defects in the Goods, or of any other complaint immediately and in any case within ten working days from the date the Goods were delivered, failing which the Goods will be deemed to have been accepted and to be in good working order. Our liability for short delivery is limited to making good the shortage. Where Goods prove to be faulty, we will replace them without charge, or give a full refund within 28 days of the date of the delivery. Where Goods are faulty, we will reimburse the cost of delivery back to us.
Taxes and Import Duties
All prices are quoted in Pounds Sterling (£) and include where appropriate UK sales tax (Value Added Tax). If your delivery address is outside the European Union, no sales tax will be added to your order. Any customs, import duties or taxes that are payable in the recipient's country are solely the responsibility of the recipient. They will not be refunded by us should you wish to cancel your order or to return any goods to us for exchange or refund.
Limitation of liability
We will use all reasonable endeavours to carry out our obligations within a reasonable period of time but will not be liable to you for any loss, costs or expenses arising directly or indirectly from any delays in doing so and we will not be deemed to be in breach of these terms and conditions by reason of any delay in performing, or any failure to perform, any of our obligations in relation to these terms and conditions, if the delay or failure was due to any cause beyond our reasonable control. Except in respect of death or personal injury caused by our negligence, we will not be liable to you for any economic loss, which term shall include loss of profits, business, revenue, goodwill or anticipated savings or any special, indirect or consequential loss in connection with the supply of the Goods.
General

Nothing in this agreement shall give nor is intended to give rights to any third party under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 or otherwise. Our failure to insist upon the strict performance of any of your obligations under these terms and conditions shall not be construed as a waiver and shall not affect our rights to require strict performance of such obligations. If any provision of these terms and conditions or part thereof is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the invalidity or unenforceability of such provision or part shall not affect any other provision or the remainder of the provision in which such invalid or unenforceable part is contained, which shall remain in full force and effect. English law will apply to these terms and conditions and the parties agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

These Terms and Conditions are the terms on which Mungo & Maud’s Refer-a-Friend Reward Promotion operates. By submitting Friend contact details to Mungo & Maud via the website at www.mungoandmaud.com you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree or comply with the terms below you must not refer any Friends to Mungo & Maud.
Definitions
The following definitions apply in these Terms and Conditions:
“Discount Code” means a single use unique Mungo & Maud Webstore coupon code for a 10% discount on specified Mungo & Maud products purchased online via www.mungoandmaud.com;
“Friend” means any individual person whose contact details are provided by you to Mungo & Maud for the purposes of Mungo & Maud’s Refer-a-Friend Reward Promotion set out on www.mungoandmaud.com;
“Referral Form” means the formal Mungo & Maud Refer-a-Friend referral form on www.mungoandmaud.com for submitting Friend referrals to Mungo & Maud;
“Referral Reward” means a reward granted to you for successful referral(s) of Friend(s) under the Mungo & Maud Refer-a-Friend Reward Promotion, being a single Discount Code.
Eligibility
Persons who are under the age of 18 are not eligible for a Referral Reward under Mungo & Maud’s Refer-a-Friend Reward Promotion governed by these terms.
Length of the Mungo & Maud Refer-a-Friend Reward Promotion
Mungo & Maud’s Refer-a-Friend Reward Promotion will continue indefinitely as long as it is published as available on www.mungoandmaud.com, unless and until Mungo & Maud at their discretion remove it from www.mungoandmaud.com.
Mungo & Maud reserves the right to terminate the Mungo & Maud Refer-a-Friend Reward Promotion at any time for any reason in their absolute discretion.
Discount Codes or Referral Rewards issued but unused at the time of termination of the Mungo & Maud Refer-a-Friend Reward Promotion may be immediately cancelled and possession of such a Discount Code or Referral Reward after termination of the Mungo & Maud Refer-a-Friend Reward Promotion does not guarantee any discount on purchases made via www.mungoandmaud.com.
Operation of the Mungo & Maud Refer-a-Friend Reward Promotion
The Mungo & Maud Refer-a-Friend Reward Promotion will operate in the following manner:
• following referral of Friend(s) by you by submission of a Referral Form, Mungo & Maud will send via EMAIL a Discount Code to each Friend (up to a maximum of SIX) referred by you to the e-mail address set out on the Referral Form;
• following referral of Friend(s) by you by submission of a Referral Form, Mungo & Maud will send via EMAIL a single Referral Reward to you to the e-mail address provided by you on the Referral Form. The Referral Reward may only be used once, and you will not be eligible for any more than one Referral Reward under this promotion.
Friend Referrals
All Friend referrals submitted to Mungo & Maud may only be submitted by completion and submission of a Referral Form via www.mungoandmaud.com. All Friend referrals submitted via hard copy or in any other format will be void, unless specifically otherwise accepted by Mungo & Maud in writing.
You agree to complete all “required fields” set out on each Referral Form including but not limited to a valid EMAIL address of each relevant Friend submitted by you.
You acknowledge and accept that you must include a valid EMAIL address for each Friend referred to Mungo & Maud via the Referral Form. Friend referrals will not be valid and thus will be void if the EMAIL addresses of referred Friends are not included or are incorrect.
In the event that any referral of a Friend by you is rejected by Mungo & Maud for any reason at Mungo & Maud’s discretion, such Friend referral will not be valid. Furthermore, you agree that the referral of Friends to Mungo & Maud will be subject to the following conditions:
• you agree that you will not refer any Friend more than once, or the same Friend using two or more different e-mail addresses. For the avoidance of doubt, a single Discount Code will be available for each Friend referred by you;
• you agree that you will not refer yourself as a Friend or set up e-mail accounts for the purposes of fraudulently obtaining Discount Codes or Referral Rewards from Mungo & Maud. If you are discovered to be engaging in any such practice you will forfeit any Referral Reward and may be declined future participation in the Mungo & Maud Refer-a-Friend Reward Promotion;
• you may refer up to SIX (maximum) Friends to Mungo & Maud in conjunction with this promotion via the Referral Form;
• Discount Codes and Referral Rewards may only be used once and to obtain discount against purchases of goods and not against shipping charges.
Obligations Relating to Contact Details of Friends Referred to Mungo & Maud
You acknowledge and accept that Mungo & Maud is bound by the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003 relating to unsolicited e-mail communications and the Data Protection Act 1998 relating to collection and storage of personal data relating to individuals.
Accordingly, when submitting contact details of Friends via the Referral Form, you agree and warrant that:
• you know each relevant Friend who you refer to Mungo & Maud personally or in a business capacity;
• each Friend who you refer to Mungo & Maud has given you permission to allow you to refer his/her personal data (including e-mail address) to Mungo & Maud;
• you have not obtained the personal data (including e-mail address) of Friends who you refer to Mungo & Maud from any other source other than the individual Friend himself/herself.
You agree that you will fully indemnify Mungo & Maud against any and all loss, liability, claims, damages, fines or costs asserted by any third party or the Information Commissioner against Mungo & Maud as a result of any breach of the above warranties by you in referring Friends to Mungo & Maud under these terms. You acknowledge and accept that any such breach will also result in your right to any Referral Reward being forfeited.
Referral Rewards
You may use Referral Rewards to obtain discounts on purchases of Mungo & Maud products which you make via www.mungoandmaud.com. You agree that issue of a Referral Reward by Mungo & Maud will be subject to the following conditions:
• only one Referral Reward relating to all Friends referred to Mungo & Maud under the Mungo & Maud Refer-a-Friend Reward Promotion will be issued to you;
• no more than a maximum of SIX Discount Codes in total will be issued to Friends referred by you to Mungo & Maud under this Mungo & Maud Refer-a-Friend Reward Promotion;
• if a particular Friend has already been earlier referred to Mungo & Maud by a third party, that third party will be eligible and will receive a Referral Reward relating to that particular Friend Referral and you will not be eligible and will not receive a Referral Reward relating to that particular Friend Referral.
Limitation of Liability
The Mungo & Maud Refer-a-Friend Reward Promotion is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Mungo & Maud does not warrant that the Mungo & Maud Refer-a-Friend Reward Promotion will be operated consistently or be in an error-free manner.
Accordingly, Mungo & Maud will not be liable to you for any errors or omissions in the operation of the Mungo & Maud Refer-a-Friend Reward Promotion. You, therefore, refer Friends to Mungo & Maud under these Terms and Conditions at your own risk. Any warranties implied by statute including but not limited to the implied warranties of fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement are hereby disclaimed by Mungo & Maud.
Subject that nothing in these terms will limit or exclude Mungo & Maud’s liability for death, personal injury or fraudulent misrepresentation, Mungo & Maud will not be liable to you for any direct, indirect, consequential or economic damages including but not limited to loss of earnings, loss of profit, the loss of data or loss of goodwill as a result of the provision of the Mungo & Maud Refer-a-Friend Reward Promotion to you and Friends referred by you.
Mungo & Maud’s Discretion and Amendment of Terms
Mungo & Maud’s decision relating to the operation of the Mungo & Maud Refer-a-Friend Reward Promotion will be final, including as to the issue and redemption of Discount Codes and Referral Rewards.
Mungo & Maud reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to change these Terms and Conditions and the basis of the Mungo & Maud Refer-a-Friend Reward Promotion at any time by amending these Terms and Conditions and publishing the amended version of these terms at www.mungoandmaud.com. The amended terms will take effect from the date of publication at www.mungoandmaud.com. Mungo & Maud, therefore, recommends that you check the relevant page of www.mungoandmaud.com from time to time to keep up to date.
General
Mungo & Maud may assign or otherwise transfer its rights and obligations under these Terms and Conditions without notice to you. You may not assign or otherwise transfer your rights and obligations under these Terms and Conditions without the express written consent of Mungo & Maud.
These Terms and Conditions will in no circumstances create a relationship of agency or partnership between Mungo & Maud and you.
These Terms and Conditions represent the entire agreement between Mungo & Maud and you in relation to the Mungo & Maud Refer-a-Friend Reward Promotion.
No provision of these Terms and Conditions will be enforceable under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 by a person who is not party to it.
Governing Law
These terms and conditions will be construed and governed in accordance with English law and the parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
