Order Confirmation

All orders for Goods are accepted when you receive a confirmation e-mail to this effect. We are legally obliged to send you this confirmation and you may wish to print or save it for your future reference. The confirmation will include details of your order, including your chosen delivery address. We will send you a further e-mail to let you know that your order will shortly be dispatched. Please read our Privacy Policy for more information regarding our data handling policy.

Price & Payment

All prices are quoted in Pounds Sterling (£) and, where appropriate, are inclusive of UK sales tax (VAT) but exclusive of delivery charges. All Goods are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. We try to ensure that all prices on display on the Website at www.mungoandmaud.com are accurate. The price of an item is the price at head office on the day of your order. We reserve the right to change any price after you place an order but should we do so, we will inform you before we process your order and you will have the opportunity to cancel the order. However the correct price will always appear on your order confirmation. Where Goods are discontinued or cannot for some reason be delivered we will contact you by e-mail or telephone to inform you of this and to suggest an alternative item similar to the one ordered or we may have to cancel your order. Where this is part of a larger order, we will process and dispatch the available Goods to you in the normal manner. All payments must be in Pounds Sterling. We accept payment by Visa, MasterCard and Paypal. If you pay by credit or charge card, we will not charge you until your order is dispatched. Paypal payments will be debited to your Paypal account when you check out.

Limitation of liability

We will use all reasonable endeavours to carry out our obligations within a reasonable period of time but will not be liable to you for any loss, costs or expenses arising directly or indirectly from any delays in doing so and we will not be deemed to be in breach of these terms and conditions by reason of any delay in performing, or any failure to perform, any of our obligations in relation to these terms and conditions, if the delay or failure was due to any cause beyond our reasonable control. Except in respect of death or personal injury caused by our negligence, we will not be liable to you for any economic loss, which term shall include loss of profits, business, revenue, goodwill or anticipated savings or any special, indirect or consequential loss in connection with the supply of the Goods.

General

All notices shall be in writing and may be served by sending them by recorded delivery post to Mungo & Maud Limited at Acre House 11-15 William Road London NW1 3ER. Nothing in this agreement shall give nor is intended to give rights to any third party under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 or otherwise. Our failure to insist upon the strict performance of any of your obligations under these terms and conditions shall not be construed as a waiver and shall not affect our rights to require strict performance of such obligations. If any provision of these terms and conditions or part thereof is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the invalidity or unenforceability of such provision or part shall not affect any other provision or the remainder of the provision in which such invalid or unenforceable part is contained, which shall remain in full force and effect. English law will apply to these terms and conditions and the parties agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

General

Mungo & Maud may assign or otherwise transfer its rights and obligations under these Terms and Conditions without notice to you. You may not assign or otherwise transfer your rights and obligations under these Terms and Conditions without the express written consent of Mungo & Maud.

These Terms and Conditions will in no circumstances create a relationship of agency or partnership between Mungo & Maud and you.

These Terms and Conditions represent the entire agreement between Mungo & Maud and you in relation to the Mungo & Maud Refer-a-Friend Reward Promotion.

No provision of these Terms and Conditions will be enforceable under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 by a person who is not party to it.

Mungo & Maud and Four Seasons Hampshire Hotel February 2012 Promotion Rules ("Rules")

These Rules are the Rules on which the Mungo & Maud and Four Seasons Hampshire Hotel February 2012 Promotion operates. By submitting an entry to Mungo & Maud via the designated website entry form you agree to be bound by these Rules together with the rest of the Terms (of which these Rules form part). If you do not agree or comply with the Rules below you must not enter the Mungo & Maud and Four Seasons Hampshire Hotel February 2012 Promotion.

Definitions

"Promotion" means the Mungo & Maud and Four Seasons Hampshire Hotel February 2012 Promotion
"Entrant" means the person whose name and contact details appear in the Entry
"Entry" means an entry into the Promotion created by means of the designated website entry form

Eligibility of Entrant

This Promotion is open to residents of the United Kingdom, except employees of Mungo & Maud Limited, or anyone else professionally associated with the Promotion. (Entrants under the age of 18 must have permission from their parent or guardian.)

How to Enter

Entries must be submitted by means of the designated website entry form by 5pm on 29 February 2012. Any Entries received after this time or by any other method (e.g., post) will not be considered. Each Entry must bear the Entrant's contact details including the Entrant's full name, postal and email addresses and a day-time contact number. No responsibility can be accepted for Entries not received due to technical failure or any other reason. Only one Entry may be made per Entrant.

The Winner

The winning Entrant shall be randomly selected from the Entries. Entrants may be asked to provide proof of age or parental/guardian consent in writing before they can be confirmed as the winner and must provide this information within 14 days of being requested to do so. The winning Entrant shall be notified prior to 21 March 2012. The winner shall be announced in the Mungo & Maud April 2012 Newsletter. The winner's name and county can be obtained by sending an SAE to Mungo & Maud Limited, 79 Elizabeth Street, London SW1W 9PJ between 1 and 30 April 2012.

The Prize

The winning Entrant shall be offered free of charge a one night stay for two persons and a dog in a Heritage room at the Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire with dinner and breakfast including service charge and taxes, however excluding alcohol. Bank Holiday periods are excluded and the prize is offered subject to availability at time of booking. The winner once notified by Mungo & Maud should contact Caitriona McGee at the Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire via email at caitriona.mcgee@fourseasons.com or via telephone at +44 (0) 1252 85300. The winning Entrant shall also receive vouchers to the value of £500 to be spent at Mungo & Maud's Elizabeth Street, London, store. The prize excludes travel expenses and insurance and is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative. Responsibility for the accommodation and related elements of the prize lies solely with the Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire. Prize must be redeemed within twelve months of issue.

Promoter

The Promoter is Mungo and Maud Limited, 79 Elizabeth Street, London SW1W 9PJ, United Kingdom.

General

Events may occur that render the Promotion itself or the awarding of the prize impossible due to reasons beyond the control of Mungo & Maud Limited and accordingly Mungo & Maud Limited may at its absolute discretion vary or amend the Rules (or discontinue the Promotion entirely) and you agree that no liability shall attach to Mungo & Maud Limited as a result thereof. By entering this promotion, you agree that Mungo and Maud and Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire may send you promotional material either by post or email.

Governing Law
